Qigong, Tai Chi, Wuwei
By letting it go,
it all gets done.

Qigong, Taichi, wuwei
Hi, Greetings from Tekson Teo.
Qigong is an exercise simple yet profound.
It is easy to learn, but beneath the simplicity is a profound health and longevity system that traces its root to not less than 5,000 years ago.
Unlike popular exercises like jogging and swimming, qigong is an internal exercise. By smoothening our life energy flow, known as qi, qigong vitalizes and strengthens our bodies and minds.
Through harmonizing our body functions, the exercises improve our agility and heal from various medical conditions.
For those who are split between work and life, qigong is an essential tool. It helps us relax and regain our energy and balance.
The Ancient Lineage
As a tai chi coach, I am privileged to be a disciple of an ancient tai chi lineage that traces back to centuries ago. I am grateful to having the opportunities to immerse in the wisdom of Grand Master Wu Tunan and generations of illustrious Masters before him, as well as the tutelage of my Master Sim Poo Ho. I am also thankful for the selfless sharing of other senior members of the community.
Although it is a lineage for tai chi, it goes deep in the cultivation and use of qi. As a matter of fact, if you want to optimize the practice of tai chi, permeating your body with qi is first and foremost. When I apply the qi nurturing techniques to the traditional qigong sequences, they work marvels.
Philosophy of Tao
I am also familiar with ancient scriptures such as the Tao Te Ching and the I Ching that form the arts’ foundation. This is useful because it helps me teach qigong and tai chi not just as exercises but also as a way of life.
I see it as my mission to make the practices of tai chi and qigong more accessible. In this aspect, I believe my Imperial College London training and decades of experience as a management consultant would useful in giving the ancient arts a modern touch.
I am putting together a series of training programs to make qigong a way of life. Please also visit my blog for articles and videos on qigong.
Do join me on the journey to the practice of qigong.
